You can't blackout the sun.

Taken on June 11, 2005.

Manipulated out of curiosity when I was trying to fix a bad photo. The results couldn't have been better. If I hadn't tweaked it, it probably would have just been a regular blurry photo in my scraps instead of my most successful post yet.

Idiots and fire rant!

Well this just takes the cake. I've seen dumb and stupid but this is ridiculous.

This morning some nut job in the neighborhood decided he;d start a backyard fire. Only one problem, he was burning all kinds of stupid crap that can explode and his fire was only 24 feet away from his propane tank. The trash he threw in his fire ranged from paper and plastic to illegal tires, hairspray cans, and even batteries. I seriously hope this man was drunk. Well he got injured when one of the batteries blew-up. Good thing firefighters arrived put it out before it reached the propane tank.

I'm believing that this should also earn this idiot a stint in jail, at least I hope so.

My name is Joseph W. Johns. I've been on this site since July 2004 and it's safe to say that this is the site that made me a photographer. I'm also a former Midland Valley High School yearbook photographer, where I took pictures of sports and other school events. I graduated in the class of 2009 and won the school's "Spirit of the Mustang" award for my work. I'm interested in a career in photography.
